The KPS removable swirl valve is equipped with a coupling, a 395x344mm mounting plate, and a tie rod. The coupling/sliding piece is 204mm. The rod length is 150cm. Mountable on a flat wall. (Round wells are possible; please specify the well diameter.) Minimum internal well size: 700x700mm.
The vortex valves limit the flow in the piping system, utilizing pressure head on the supply side. This submerged vortex valve has a continuously adjustable inlet opening. A tie rod between the vortex valve and the manhole opening allows the valve to be removed for cleaning or maintenance. A manhole cover must be placed above this tie rod. For type CE/V with a so-called "flooded" inlet, there must be a 0.40 meter height difference between the outgoing pipe and the manhole bottom. The valve is mounted on a plate for the discharge pipe. A coupling is welded to this plate, into which the vortex valve slides. The inlet and discharge pipes may be at the same height. If the supply line is a storage pipe, we recommend placing it approximately 5 to 10 cm higher than the discharge pipe to facilitate self-cleaning. M10 stainless steel mounting anchors are included.
