Self-supporting drainage channel Type I according to EN1433. High-quality self-compacting concrete C55/67 with mesh reinforcement. 100% recyclable cast iron and concrete. Resistant to frost, rain, salt, oil, and gasoline, etc. Self-cleaning flow profile (U-shaped). Due to their design, the drainage channels have a built-in resistance of strength class F, 900 kN. The required resistance is guaranteed by the entire system. The drainage channels have a tongue and groove connection and a recess for a safety joint (SF). For liquid-tight versions, this recess must be sealed. Galvanized steel pins ensure an improved connection and straight-line installation. The top edges of the channel are equipped with integrated edge protection made of galvanized steel, anchored in the concrete. The drainage channel complies with European Standard EN1433. Dimensions: length 225 cm; internal width 12.8/14.8 cm (top/bottom); External width 26.4/24.4 cm (top/bottom); internal height 20 cm; external height 25 cm. Pre-assembled BANANE grating made of ductile iron FGS 500-7, length 75 cm. The grating is supplied bolted to the drainage channel: 4x bolted with stainless steel bolts (i.e. 12x bolted per drainage channel), the stainless steel bolts are anchored in sleeves that are connected to the reinforcement. The slots in the grating are banana-shaped and 30 mm wide. The gratings have diamond-shaped profiles to increase water retention capacity and prevent slippage. The grating complies with load class F, 900 kN, according to European Standard EN 1433. Absorption area = 810 cm²/m².
The self-supporting drainage channels allow installation without a lateral concrete casing (only a foundation is required). Installation instructions are available upon request.
