Self-supporting drainage channel HRI XP

Innovation, simplicity and sustainability in one modular system

30 years of experience in HRI drainage channels has been reliably proven. Every detail has been carefully considered to provide an unparalleled solution in terms of performance and ergonomics. The HRI XP represents the new generation of HRI drainage channels designed by STRADAL! This new generation of the proven HRI concept takes performance, ease of installation, and durability to a new level.

Every detail of the new generation of HRI XP drainage channels has been designed to provide construction companies, engineering firms and installation companies with an intuitive solution and to pay the best TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) on the market:

  • Everything is simpler : the range, the selection, the operation and the installation.
  • Everything is more economical : the choice of hydraulic sections, the simplicity and speed of operation, service and maintenance.

HRI XP offers the most characteristic and economical hydraulic control for every project, thanks to the services of the configuration software “hydrauline” , which calculates the best solution for you based on the completed project information.

Mechanical reliability

Thanks to its unique structure in highly reinforced concrete and the reinforced grid , the HRI XP offers very high resistance to repeated, heavy loads and shocks:

  • Ultra-performance concrete formula C 55/67 for better shock resistance of the products.
  • Self-compacting concrete and delayed disassembly for perfect geometry and a Manning Stickler roughness coefficient of 95.
  • Double corner profiles in galvanised steel, monobloc and connected to the reinforcement at 8 points for optimum protection of the corners.
  • 0.75 m cocks are secured to the gutter with dynamometric wrenches. High grating assembly pressure of 57 N/m. Four bolts per cock for added safety and maintenance .

This time Stradal also links it to an concrete with a lower carbon content which reduces CO2 emissions by 15% !

Hydraulic reliability

HRI XP enables efficient rainwater management for all sectors. It comes in 12 hydraulic sections , covering capacities ranging from 240 to 4476 cm² . The range is extremely easy to understand and adjust, with hydraulic section sizes adjustable in 25% increments .

  • HRI® XP 150: height 200 mm
  • HRI® XP 200: height 200 / 300 / 400 mm
  • HRI® XP 300: height 300 / 400 / 500 mm
  • HRI® XP 400: height 400 / 500 mm
  • HRI® XP 500: height 600 / 800 / 1000 mm

The underground flow in the drainage channel ensures improved hydraulic cleaning and powerful flow . The water collection is horizontal thanks to specially designed transition elements with a slope that allows models of different heights (with the same internal width) to be connected. This influences the hydraulic capacity of the channel as it fills.

Credibility absorption capacity

The technical design of the HRI XP grid offers high absorption capacity . A design inspired by the most comparable pneumatic technologies for water drainage:

  • The grid is 100% PMR , meaning it is suitable for people with mobility issues, cyclists, etc.
  • High resistance grid in GJS500-7 cast iron of 0.75 m length for better stability in the profile.
  • A single design of rooster for all elements of the series.
  • Custom colors for better integration (up to 150 RAL colours)

Due to the availability of access elements with a slope Available options also allow you to switch from one gutter height to another. This effectively increases the hydraulic capacity of the line, while maintaining a completely consistent aesthetic .

Ecological reliability

HRI XP is a technical solution of which the total environmental impact at all levels Not only is the self-supporting Type I design (EN 1433 standard for hydraulic channels) industrially designed to be extremely economical in concrete consumption, but a low-carbon concrete (-15% CO2) was also chosen to improve the impact of the HRI XP. In this way, we try to contribute to a lower ecological footprint :

  • The installation of a self-supporting and self-resistant HRI XP grating gutter type I makes it possible to to largely reduce water, crushed stone and concrete consumption on construction sites (in the loss of a gutter with lost formwork of type M). The lifting straps make it possible to slot width (- 30 cm) to be involved in the installation of the gutters . This also leads to a reduction in the amount of earthmoving required and, in addition, a decrease in the number of truck movements.
  • Sustainability is central to the choice of materials : reliability expected to last up to 100 years.
  • Maintenance is solved by using mechanical screws for the mounting/dismounting of the cast iron cocks.

The New Generation of drainage channels for the infrastructure challenges of today and tomorrow

HRI XP offers the widest and most complete range on the market. It is designed to effectively and sustainably protect all sensitive infrastructure , whether in industrial, urban, and roadside environments subject to excessive rain and runoff, or in challenging conditions with intensive, heavy, or even extreme traffic:

  • Urban environment
  • Residential areas
  • Parking lots of shopping centers, hospitals, etc.
  • Distribution centers
  • Infrastructure
  • Ports
  • Airports

When the safety of property and people is essential. When operational continuity and the continuity of services are paramount.
