Self-supporting sand trap Type I according to EN1433. High-quality self-compacting concrete C55/67 with a reinforcement mesh. 100% recyclable cast iron and concrete. Resistant to frost, water, salts, oil and petrol etc. Due to its design, the sand traps have a built-in resistance of strength class D, 400 kN. The intended resistance is guaranteed by the whole. The sand traps have a tongue and groove connection and a recess for a safety joint (SF). In the case of a liquid-tight version, this recess must be sealed. The top of the sand trap is provided with an integrated edge protection in galvanised steel (thickness 4 mm), anchored in the concrete (height 3 cm). The sand trap complies with the European Standard EN1433. Dimensions: length 50 cm; internal width 20 cm; external width 28.3/26.4 cm (bottom/top); fixed height 66.5 cm. On 1 side a cast-in sleeve is provided for connection to the sewer with Ø 160 mm. On the other side a knock-out of 250 mm is provided. This type of cast iron has an exceptional fracture resistance (up to 600 Mpa) and a high elasticity (up to 470 Mpa). The high cast iron quality allows for an aesthetic grate with a high inlet capacity of 950 cm2/lm. Length 50cm; 4x bolted with stainless steel bolts. The grate complies with load class D, 400 kN according to the European Standard EN 1433. The slot width of 18mm complies with the requirements for PPE.
