A float consists of a hollow space with an internal switch, which floats with the liquid level. Once an angle of approximately 45 degrees has been reached, the float will switch and it can switch a pump, electric valve or alarm on or off. The tipping point can be determined with the supplied external weight or with mounting to a fixed point. The length of the cable to this turning point will then determine the switching point. There must be a minimum level difference of 20 cm.

The float switch (blue/yellow) is ideally suited to regulate the level of a tank, a reservoir or a pond. It can be ordered with a cable length of up to 50 meters and a balance weight. The switch has a changeover contact and can be used for filling and emptying (normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO)).
