CE marking of the heart of rainwater management
The CEV current controllers have a CE marking
Our factory has been working for years to document the performance, reliability and quality of its products. This has now resulted in the acquisition of an ETA, based on previous efforts in the European Technology Verification program, which now allows CEV power regulators to receive a CE mark.
In an increasingly chaotic market where performance is mainly based on suppliers' self-declarations, the CE marking of CEV power controllers allows customers to specify a product with documented performance.
For more than 50 years, work has been done on flow controllers that are designed for situations where rainwater management is required to protect the sewer system and keep it reliable. In recent years, customers from all over the world have become increasingly interested in products with documented performance and quality. The flow controller is the heart of any sewer system planning and if it does not perform as specified, the entire system will fail. Most schemes build on standardizing the production process, not on product capabilities. The creation of the European Environmental Technology Verification Scheme has made it possible to document performance and is applicable across the EU and potentially around the world.
In 2015, after a thorough testing process, our factory received the European Environmental Technology Verification of its CEV power controllers. In 2018 they decided to take the next step towards an ETA. An ETA makes it possible, at European Union level, to technically specify the performance of a CEV power regulator for those characteristics that are relevant to its intended use. In addition, the ETA forms the basis for the subsequent CE marking in 2019.
ETA has guided them through the rigorous process from European environmental technology verification to ETA and now CE marking.
